We often spend time here discussing doctors, especially urologists, oncologists, etc., and sometimes specific ones by name. But rarely do we ever talk about
the
nurses we have encountered during our respective journeys down this PCa path.
Perhaps we don't always think about
it, but they are a
huge part of our medical teams, but perhaps often don't seem to get the appreciation they deserve, almost as if they are working in the background.
I was thinking recently about
my own now-seven-year experience with this PCa business, and while doing so realized my own good fortune in having had first-rate medical staff all along the way, at every stop, hospital stays, doctor office visits, etc. And in particular I recognized that of the, probably by now, dozens of nurses I have encountered so far along this way,
every one has been a five-star practitioner and person in my book.
This short video, "I am a nurse," gives a nice, uplifting summary of what a nurse does, and indeed well describes all the ones I've had:

And if you happen to recall an especially helpful nurse from your own experience, please feel free to post about
it below, providing her (or him) with the credit the person deserves.
