Post Advance Sling experiences

I am 9 years post laparoscopic prostate surgery and have been leaking about one pad a day since. I finally went and had an Advance Sling procedure done 9 days ago. Things went well, except that I went home with a catheter because I couldn't pee on my own after a few hours. Three days later I removed the catheter and have been dry ever since. Unfortunately, I have been having significant discomfort while urinating and sometimes feel that I am not emptying my bladder completely. I am looking to find out if this "normal" and will resolve shortly, or did the Doc cinch me up a little too tight? Thanks in advance for you input.

I had my Ad Vance Sling installed on 4 March, after 5 years of debating and hoping for improvement. The pain has been brutal, but I also made the choice of not taking the oxycodone... Toughing it out may not be a brilliant move, but was mine... So far, even with the pain and swelling, all is going Great, we see my Surgeon tomorrow for post op visit number 1. We could not be happier thus far!!! Good Luck!!! Bob

Also I did hydrocodine but the pain gets better on your third week my second doctor Had did 450 slings my first Doctor Did 50 slings so I would say find a surgeon that has done many because my first time I was in crucial pain my balls were big as grapefruit and I hurt bad my second surgery my balls wasn't that big and I didn't hurt near as much I can walk first time I could barely walk
