PSA Rise

Hubby as 6 month PSA today with a .03 result, up from .02 6 months ago. Undetectable for 5 years (<.06) See Urologist on Tuesday. Trying not to get to worked up about this. Words of wisdom/encouragement and what to expect for next steps. Thank you.

So 5 years at <.06, meaning the PSA Assay they are using cannot detect anything below .06. Which means as far as you know, it might have been fluctuating the whole 5 years between .02 and .04.

I think it’s too early to be concerned. It would be really helpful to other members if you could create a signature showing put in fax like his pathology after surgery if he had surgery, or what other treatment he’s had

Another vote for "noise" with that small amount of fluctuation. And as been pointed out, he's still at <0.06.

What was his post-surgery pathology?

It's noise and still below <.06.

At <.06, all of my PSA's would have been "normal".
