Good morning all , just had a recent blood workup . Psa is at 1.06 down from 1.22 , before that it was at my lowest at .83. My rad onc wanted to do psa at 3 month intervals because of the previous bounces . I know this is a long road so if you have a bounce it is just part of the program , hang in there . My RO says PC is a marathon and not a sprint. In my journey I found the lab used can make a significant difference in results as a result of several different standards being used. Also, biking, sexual activity, etc. can effect PSA values. My RO also says guys having a bounce statistically have less recurrence and better outcomes. Best wishes for low values going forward.

Hey, John - Don't they say "The best balls bounce the most times?"

I agree with the others, in that my own limited research says that those RT patients who take a long time to reach nadir and those who bounce have the best long-term outcomes.

I'll have a single malt scotch, please!
