Vaxchora banned for over those 64 years by Illinois State law

Walgreen's gave me the above information, so I called and wrote to the company [APCER Life Sciences, Inc. on behalf of Emergent Biosolutions, Inc.]. Clearly the lawyers had written their response, which included no helpful information like maybe could a travel agency help, or maybe a nearby state is not so restrictive. Anyone know if Wisconsin or Indiana is less restrictive, or of some other solution? Thank you.

Thank you Djin Tonic. I know this, it has been well-discussed on another site, including with the lab people behind Vaxchora. Based on that discussion I want Vaxchora, not Dukoral, and I know some over 65 have obtained Vaxchora, so I am looking for how.

The U.S. vaccine, Vaxchora, is not the same as the Swedish Dukoral. I see no published research since that one Swedish study,

Association between post-diagnostic use of cholera vaccine and risk of death in prostate cancer patients [2018]

And, as has been noted elsewhere, association is not necessarily causation. It would be nice if Dukoral were available here, as it is in Canada. It also requires a booster at 2 years. On the plus side, the same researchers found an association with a reduced rate colorectal cancer.
