I have pain in my pelvis for about two (2) weeks, this Tuesday I had CT Scan, Today, the results came out, found a large mass 6.5x4.8 cm in my pelvis, doctor told me that I might have SAMLL-CELL CARCINOMA in my pelvis, did any heard of this type of cancer which mutate from prostate cancer

Thank you anyway, note, my PSA level remain undetectable, but, I was told carcinoma is more aggressive cancer

In a small amount of cases it can happen. A client of mine fought the disease for nine years and finally small cell PCa invaded his lungs. The more advanced Gleason grades are known to continue to mutate. The doctor can only confirm with a biopsy of the cancer. It is important to identify the type of cancer to properly determine the treatment that has the best probability of control. What is the strategy approaching the tumor? Will it be radiated?

JNF, thanks for the info, Doctor told me today, the plan is to have chemo or radiation right way depending on biopsy and MRI which are to be scheduled

In my years on this site and reading, I "believe" this small cell is deceiving and generally doesn't have a corresponding high PSA. An aggressive cancer will produce a lower than expected PSA for the aggressiveness.

JNF, I have stage 4 PC, do you know what stage your client is, what is his situation with SCC, 9 years fighting with this aggressive disease is considered being very long
