Post prostatectomy sex life

As I said earlier, I suspect there is a bell curve--10-15% report no ED issues, or only minor ones that are manageable with low dose cialis or similar--not unlike many non-prostate treated men in the same age cohort. Another 10-15% are at the other side of the curve--little to no action at all. The rest are in between. Complicating matters are things like the extent of the surgery--nerve sparing or not is likely the biggest issue--and that cannot always be predicted pre-surgery.

One statement in the article bobbiesan posted jumps out at me: (summarizing)--that there is a huge psychological effect that gets mixed in, and the response of the treated man's partner(s) is much more important than is frequently discussed. I can't imagine what it would be like to have a double-whammy of the loss of physical function AND a partner who is angry, blaming, bitter about it on top of it.

Just to be clear I do not have ED.
I'm 80% what I was at age 30.
It is just so totally different, no feeling, no ejaculate, no prostate goodness.Its not worth the trouble of trying. We have other behaviors that work for us.
