Hello, Mr. Bill ---
Take it slow and steady, but a daily walk will pay dividends --- or whatever form of exercise you like best. This time of year, summer lawn work can be one's workout, even.
I learned something valuable, from one of my doctors, while going through a series of radiation treatments, which often result in fatigue or lethargy ...
He said, "The day you don't FEEL like walking, is the day you need to walk the most!"
His point was that even a walk around the neighborhood will INCREASE energy.
When the pandemic started, I added an extra early morning walk.
Since then, just by adding an extra walk each day, and eating more fresh produce, I have dropped 20 pounds since spring.
I always walk in the evenings, but the extra morning walk has obviously paid dividends. I am consistent with walking on weekends, too --- and often walk at nearby lakes or county parks and state parks on weekends. Exploring some new trails and walking routes keeps my motivation high.
I hope you can "feel the wind in your sails" once again!
Take care --- hang in there --- and I will look forward to your next post!
With my best, from across the miles ~
