Cabazitaxel (Jevtana) Here I come (Maybe-High Testostrone Trial?)

Crazy two days. Had scans and blood work yesterday. PSA 291.9 Alkaline Phosphate 651. Looks like it wasnt flare from the taxoere.

Scans moderate increase in volume of bone mets.

Doxcetal (aka Taxotore) not controling my cancer. No chemo vacation.

Choices
1 - Chemo vacation and let mets continue to progress. No way.
2 - Cabazitaxel - Every three weeks.
3 - Clinical Trial - will be looking at it tomorrow, but the Covid-19 situation has slowed down entry into trials.

Heading to Denosoumab to stregthen my bones, and starting the chemo regime up again. God I hate fricken chemo, but it is better than the alternative.

Going to skip SBRT on the two mets that occassionally bother me for now.

This has been a crazy year. Zytiga stopped, xtandi did not really work, and taxotere was a complete failure. Was hoping for a year for xtandi and taxotere each.

Going to punch it hard with the cabazitaxel, and see how everything plays out.

Some of you know I have been tracking this by milestones. Got four in mind. 1 - Youngest daughter turns 21 end of august. 2- November 20, 2020 7year aniversery. 3- Oldest graduates from nursing school in December or May depending on Covid and 4 - Youngest graduates May 2022. Thats the plan. Everything else is going to be gravy.

Just got of the phone with my MO. We are going to investigate a Clinical Trial at John Hopkins which involves high dosing with testosterone and immunotherapy. Will move forward in this direction if I qualify. If I get in I will start a new thread to keep you all posted.
