Today was a seminal day in my life. For today, Drs. Sang E. Sim and Mitchel Weiss declared me CANCER FREE.

Nine weeks of Tomotherapy and the fatigue and increased urination that goes with it. Still, I literately kissed that bloody machine when I emerged from the tunnel this afternoon. Six weeks hence, the semi-annual PSA tests begin. My attitude is positive. The staff at Monmouth Medical Center in West Long Branch, NJ are my Real American Heroes.

To make matters better, my beloved wife of 36+ years had her semi-annual breast cancer followup. Everything was clean and clear. God smiled on my family. And I give Praise to Him.

All of you who contribute to this forum have helped me make it through. Your experiences and wisdom are amazing. All of you are in my daily prayers.

They didn't get me in Vietnam. They missed on 9/11. And now, PCa struck out!

Fred - Good news! Now you have to just stop driving in NJ to increase your odds further. Always seemed more risky to me than all the diseases put together.

Congrats to both of you on the great news! The three worst words I have ever heard in a sentence....You have cancer. The four best words I have ever heard... You are cancer free. I hope the two of you have very many years to celebrate.
