We have several on the board who are, or have been on Xtandi, I am hopeful someone will share their experience. I recollect the Todd1963 has been on for several years with success. Of course it works differently for each individual and information from trials usually have little specific meaning for any one individual. Remember, trials are not really predictive of actual success in general use over a long period of time. They are designed to confirm safety and efficacy for FDA approval for use and sale of the drug or procedure.
I am sure there are any number of studies and reports regarding experience in use as we have had the drug for nearly a decade and a recent report I saw claimed nearly 500,000 men have used the drug. Aleph, I suggest you do a little research for reports through the PCF, ASCO, PUB-MED, SWOG, and cancer centers like MDAnderson, MSK, Mayo, etc. Also ask your oncologist for the studies they rely on and actual information regarding the use in their practice.
Some of our members are very adept at finding relevant research and reports that may be helpful. Djintonic comes immediately to mind.
