Hi MGT,
Sorry to hear about
your problems, but I can certainly relate. I had a much worse experience than yours, by which I mean surgery was the immediate end in this area for me. Nothing ever helped, though I never tried the implant approach.
So, I'm glad to hear you have had good results for quite a few years, but sorry to hear you feel it is "all slipping away.".
Assuming they would work for you as they do for many, you have some options left. Different drugs might help(it is possible). And the MUSE or direct injections(with the world's tiniest needles) of similar drugs, even without Viagra, might make a big difference. And lastly there is the big Kahuna, a surgical prosthesis implant with guaranteed erections for however long and as often you desire to have one. Not guarantee sexual pleasure, mind you, but guaranteed erections. It just pumps you up.
But, as you guys age, you still must determine if your wife would be interested in your being able to have an erection, using any of those means, or not.
BTW, you can see endless discussions of the surgical implant approach and success, or occasional failures, over at a web site called Franktalk.
