Thanks for the message. Has been a whirlwind of tests and scans and dr appointments. Have decided on surgery in St Louis with Urology Oncologist. Working on getting date set for robotic removal

Taylor, I'm curious, who is doing your surgery? I had Dr. Figenshau at Barnes 6 years ago, no side effects.

When we last heard from you, you had just received an official prostate cancer diagnosis, and were getting ready to pursue treatments.

How are things going for you, Taylor? I hope your medical team led you forward --- and that you are faring well since we last heard from you.

Lots of support and fellowship and camaraderie here! If you have a question or two, we've got a lot of readers here who can share thoughts and treatment experiences.

Cyclone, so good to hear from you. It has been a crazy summer. Had my RARP on May 28th and catheter came out 13 days later. Couple of weeks after that developed large lymphocele in my pelvis and had to have a drain put in for 7 weeks. Lots of ER visits and dr appointments and scans. Drain finally came out and I am finally feeling somewhat normal these days. Not dealing with lot of incontinance issues, but definitely dealing with ED. Doing lots of penile rehab in hopes it will come back. Dr. was able to spare nerves and is confident I will regain function again after time. Right now using vacuum pump and Trimix injections. Thanks so much for thinking of me and responding. Always good to hear from you and connect. Write anytime.
