I met this amazing man when my wife and I visited Washington D.C. about
ten years ago. He was conversing with an Honor Flight group near the WWII Memorial. When he was finished talking to the group, I walked up and introduced myself and told him, "We have something in common." I knew that he had had prostate surgery in December of 1991. We then spent a few minutes talking about
our prostate cancer experiences (I had my surgery about
a year prior to this), and he was very encouraging...a real gentleman. I hope he's enjoying the hereafter, where his battle wounds are all behind him
