I read about it several weeks ago. It apparently has to do with:

"...all of whom had tumors with genetic mutations called mismatch repair deficiency (MMRd), seen in a subset of approximately 5–10 percent of rectal cancer patients." So a small subset of a different cancer than we care about but still pretty remarkable. Here's another link:
