Hi again. I'm now 12 years down the road as a PC survivor, having failed both surgery and salvage radiation. I've had no other treatment and, after consultation with many uros and ROs my plan has been to use diet to make it as hard as possible for my cancer to grow, and to delay ADT as long as possible, until a PSA of 10.
So today I got great news. The last PSA on my profile was in 2019 at 0.369. It went as high as 1.85 in August of this year. Today I got another reading and it dropped to 1.28, so my doubling time is now negative.
I planned to do a PSMA scan but now there's no need. My last PSMA was at a PSA of 1.85 and nothing showed, so I may be PSMA negative.
My diet is basically the old Snuffy Myers Mediterranean diet, and I take daily supplements that have been shown to slow down PSA. They are POMI-T, Turkey Tail mushroom extract, and mescadinex.
It's great to be able to say hi again and still be around with good numbers. Good luck to all of us.
