Hello!
Do you have a local doctor who has been looking after you lately?
It's important to stay consistent with follow-up PSA tests, along the way. My local doctor has made sure of this, in my case, since my diagnosis in 2013.
Until VERY recently, I visited the lab every month, like clockwork. In recent months, I have gone to an "every two months" schedule.
You should have a doctor's guidance on all of this. I hope you have had a doctor who has been tracking things for you, and meeting consistently with you.
Looking forward ~ we're wanting all the best for you. Can you get an appointment scheduled soon locally and get a proactive plan going?
You have everything to gain by seeking out the best level of medical care you can. Your local doctor should be an advocate in helping you coordinate that.
Sometimes, we have to be our own advocate and start booking appointments, scans, and consultations.
In my case, my local oncologist and Dr. Kwon at Mayo Clinic co-manage my case. That two levels of trusted expertise, looking after my case.
We've got a supportive circle here ~ wanting all the best for you, going forward!
Keep in touch with us & let us know your "next step" & how you're faring ~
