Sr Sailor, Mumbo, I have JH info, thanks.
Mumbo, I have read this attached articleâs and thatâs why I would like to get second opinions just in case. As long as my husbandâs PSAs stay the same as the last three tests or below 0.1, I guess he would be ok.

Sorry, I dropped the ball on your last post.
Like Prato, there was more emphasis on really early treatment 5+ years ago when I start my adventure. I seem to recall some saying to blast away after a rise above 0.03. The AUS articles seems to reflect more current thinking with everything revolving around 0.20 but there are still exceptions for the higher risk cases. Of course, there are some men that just have a small PSA that takes years to rise significantly so why hurry too much? On the other hand, there are some men that can not handle even a small PSA and want to take action. Studies have not really shown any benefit to starting before 0.20 which is why that seems to be the pivot point.
I would just start by visiting ROâs while he has plenty of time and get a tentative plan together if needed as Prato noted.
