Probably like an endoscopy and colonoscopy where three meds and combinations are commonly used, Versed (midasolam), fentanyl, and propofol. They are getting better with these as my last colonoscopy went quick and I felt wonderful an hour later which did not agree well with the restrictions on driving, etc.
It is all up to the anesthesiologist when they discuss your past medical history but the default is usually the above items.
i had a colonoscopy a year or so ago. the drugs they used wore off very quickly and i was not out of it for the rest of the day like when i had a previous colonoscopy, liver biopsy etc. i was easily able to drive an hour after the procedure
