I posted about a week or so ago about my Dad having numerous nodules in both lung bases. They have not done a chest CT yet, that is just what the abdominal and pelvis CT showed. At any rate, he finally had a stent placed in his iliac vein which has helped his leg swelling considerably (mass in pelvic sidewall didn’t shrink with radiation that was completed July 15 and compressed vein) he still has leg pain. They did do a scope in the bladder and found that the prostate bed had growth again!! It was creeping into bladder. They were able to resect some, or most of that back. He was on Erleada when the pelvic spot doubled in size. Tried Lynparza then and that had his kidney labs in bad places. Had to stop early May and now here we are. His PSA is still undetectable so that check cannot be trusted. No biopsy of lung nodules has been done. Based off what someone else said it is important to have that done for treatment purposes. From what I have gathered, his oncologist is going to go with chemo for treatment. He has had bone mets for a couple years and, knock on wood, those haven’t changed in size.
