Should I hold off getting a prostate MRI because of UTI?

Three days ago I had to go more often, it burned at the tip, and it was hard to control stopping urination. Two days ago went to a clinic, they said I had a UTI. Prescription for an antibiotic to take twice a day for two weeks minimum.
Tomorrow will know what antibiotic the lab thinks is best. I'm maybe 30% better which is disappointing. I read that the MRI can show abnormalities if there is inflammation or cancer so there can be false positives,

How long should I wait before getting the prostate MRI?

Great point. Not easier to get through to a doc, but will try. Maybe if I physically go to the image center.
