Im not a doctor either, but I hope this helps you relax. MSKCC only tests down to .05. Anything less than that they consider undetectable. Best of luck.
Yes, and I actually asked my NP at MSKCC about
that a couple years back. Her response was that (at least for me, in the setting of post - SRT), anything below .05 wouldn't indicate a need for action anyway . She offered me the option of testing at an outside lab of my choice that tests lower, like Labcorp, but I declined. I want peace in my life LOLcomplete renal ultrasound came back negative except for TWO kidney stones, one in right kidney and one in bladder. Have been taking flomax to relax stuff down there and did pass the bladder one today.
All labs also came back negative for infections but did have blood in urine.
6 month check is next Monday with the URO, I did see the PA for the stones, she is excellent and I prefer dealing with her than with the URO surgeon. We'll see how it goes. She did have me to a blood test for potassium levels stating that if that is out of synch, it could lead to stones but mine level was fine.
Thanks for the replies guys...will always be an interesting journey. Having had ART already eliminates the ability to do that again but there are a lot of other options and we're close enough to NYC to be able to go there if needed/wanted.
