Hello all who might remember me. I was diagnosed at 48 with intermediate PCa. I don’t remember my numbers or scores, but my diagnosis came during the year of my 30 year h.s. reunion.

Now I’m planning our 40th and all is good on the cancer front. My PSAs have been 0 for 5+ years and my sex life is pretty good. I take a pill to help a little but not complaining. The rest of my life is good. I have two grandkids now that I didn’t have then so they make it worth sticking around!

Another thing….. I’m so happy I found this forum in 2014. The urologist was pressuring me towards surgery and he was a young doctor at Emory. It was here I learned about HDBrachy.

DeWayne, I remember you well, we arrived on the HW scene around the same time. You took a different route than I did, but we are both still here and living life, which is all that is important. I'm glad for your success, and appreciate the update. Congrats

This is fantastic to hear. And yes, I remember when you had your treatment--I believe you went hiking the same day as your brachy, or something like that.

Yeah, I went to a school board meeting and a Christmas party for my business the night of my HDR procedure. My wife told on me to my urologist when I went back 2 weeks later for my second treatment.

Good to see some familiar names who still on here (and alive!).
