Merry Christmas, everyone!

For another year, here's another short, but hopefully festive, videocard, wishing everyone a pleasant and enjoyable holiday season.

And I'll bet most of you are sharp enough to observe that it wishes everyone a "Happy" Christmas rather than a "Merry" one, indicating that it probably had its origin in the UK.

But you know what? Whether we wish each other "Happy" or "Merry" Christmas, it really doesn't matter, because it's the thought and the sentiment that counts, whether we say it one way or the other.

So maybe we should all just say

A JOYOUS CHRISTMAS TO ALL!

and leave it at that!

There's nothing better than seeing a child's reaction to Christmas and Santa Claus. And you remember how you felt believing in Santa Claus. As the song says, "those were the days my friend ......".

Merry Christmas to everyone here and their families and friends.

Duke48, I have to agree with you about a child's reaction. The little girl from across the street just came over with her grandmother to deliver Christmas gifts to me and my wife. Her eyes lit up with excitement when she started telling me and my wife that Santa was coming tonight and bringing presents to her. She has been so excited, that she asked to go to bed early last night because Santa was coming.

met with the sister in law's family along with the grand niece's and nephews on Christmas and that was the when I "felt" the spirit. kid's make the holiday
