Last October Elon Musk attended the Prostate Cancer Foundation's 24th Annual Gala in the Hamptons, a black-tie celebrity fundraiser event, at which Michael Milken, active in the PCF, interviewed him:

Apparently it was free-ranging, and not sure how much was actually said about
PCa, but it's of course interesting that Musk was there for it:

"The Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCF) 24th Annual Gala in the Hamptons took place at the Parrish Art Museum in Water Mill, NY. The summer benefit supported the Annual PCF Pro-Am Tennis Tournament and celebrated the millions raised and achievements made over many years through PCF. Founder Michael Milken and The Gala in the Hamptons weekend hosts and sponsors welcomed guests to enjoy, engage and be entertained while helping to fund groundbreaking discoveries in cancer research."
"The lavish dinner party gave way to a wide ranging, one-on-one interview between PCF Founder Michael Milken and Elon Musk."Milken on his own experience with PCa, and his perspective on the current state of PCa research and activity:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ppgarqdmtp8A little research I did turned up no particular reason why Musk might have a special interest in PCa. No indication that he has or has had it, for example.
But something of interest that I did find was his own admission that he was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome as a child (here's a video of he himself talking about
that) :
https://www.bing.com/videos/riverview/relatedvideo?q=elon+musk+asperger%27s&mid=fbd9eb9ccdf7eb981e5efbd9eb9ccdf7eb981e5e&form=virealong with the claim I read on another site that this explains not only what some have seen as the "coldness" of his personality, but as well a penchant some perceive in him for wanting to help others facing a challenge, such as a cancer diagnosis, like he had to face Asperger's Syndrome as a child.
Whether or not this is fact is debatable, but it's likely a positive that someone of Musk's stature is taking an interest in PCa.
Certainly interesting.
And if he has the ear of the President, might that perhaps translate into advocacy for cancer research funding support?
