Hi Jason,
I'll echo Mumbo: give yourself lots of time to regain your strength and stamina: RP is a major operation; exercise (walking) but don't overdo it.
Your signature is fine. A couple of suggestions (but it's your signature, of course, so do as you like):
-- Begin with relationships of close relative(s) who had prostate cancer (father? if I remember)
-- Add the number of nodes removed
-- Add the percentage of pattern 4 and overall tumor burden (%):
So something like:
G7 (3+4), __% pattern 4, pT3a, negative margins, x% of prostate,
focal EPE x 2, some cribriform pattern, __ negative nodes.
The staging according to pathology always has a “p” in front, so yours is pT3a
(This is to distinguish it from the clinical staging which has no “p” or a “c” in front and may differ from one's path staging.)
The signature will not only help others respond, but will serve you well in the years to come as a reminder for you with its dates and data.
It also helps other understand how similar their history, treatment(s) & current status is to yours. The most recent edits to a signature don't always show up right away. I think of the signature as a painting that is never quite finished
