Long battle over

Denny peacefully ended his eleven+ year battle with prostate cancer on January 27 surrounded by family at home as he wanted. He had a quick decline at the end and was blessed with little pain. He tried everything but finally bone marrow destruction was more than his body could tolerate. He entered home hospice care on January 8. They were so supportive and kind and made it possible for us to fulfill his last wish to die at home. We are so thankful for this man who was described by friends as the kindest person they knew.

I am so sorry to hear of Denny’s passing. You both gave it a tremendous fight and I am sure he was very happy you were by his side through it all. You also were a great advocate for him on Healingwell. Please remember the good times you had together and we will all be here for any further support you may need.
Again so sorry for your loss and my blessings go with you.

So sorry to hear this. You and Denny fought this gallantly for many years and did everything you could. My sincere condolences to you and your family. So thankful that you were both part of the HW family for so many years.

I remember you from some threads in the past.

I glad Denny didn’t have to go through a protracted or painful end.

My condolences to you and your family. He sounds like he was a good man.

I am very sorry to hear of Denny's passing. He was a blessed man to have his family there with him when he passed on. May Denny rest in peace and thank you Denny for your strength and support to all of us who are traveling this road of PCa.
My prayers are with Denny and his family.
