Renewed incontinence after Cysto?

I was almost continent when I had to have a Cystoscope for a pre-existing bladder cancer. One is required for me once a year to check inside my bladder for any cancerous polyps. That was almost three weeks ago and my incontinence has now picked up again, maybe a couple of pads a day at most but kind of disheartening as I was almost there. It now seems that I have to strain to urinate and my flow isn't near as strong as before. It also seems that some urine is retained in the urethra and then drips out when I am moving around. Is this typical after a cystoscope where maybe the urethra hasn't healed from the trauma of having a large instrument inserted? I'm hoping that this is only temporary but I don't have another appointment with my Urologist until late December. I would appreciate any comments from forum members that maybe has experience this.
