I received my latest PSA report last Tuesday (12/22/09) from my surgeon. The measurement was “0.05.” My surgeon doesn't believe I should be concerned even though my recent history is “=0.06,” “<0.04,” and now “=0.05” Since I'm not trending consistently higher, the belief is that I have some benign prostatic tissue remaining from the original surgery causing the detectable reading. I did have one nerve spared in the surgery.
So, I'll be starting off the new year feeling pretty good as I approach 30 months post-surgery.
Here is an early wish to everyone for a prosperous, and yes, healthy 2010!
Kind regards
P.S. Nice to see you hanging in there, David (Purgatory). Keep the faith!
