Well the first treatment was uneventful and took about 10 minutes the actual time of the radiation was 1minute 45 seconds. They said I am getting 180 Rads and final will be 6300 RadsThe place was great people were friendly and they took MJ into the room and explained the machine what is done and what to expect. They radiologist said the machine is state of the art and that this techology was not available a year and a half ago. The room looked like a disco with all the lights and lasers. He told me that with this machine I should not have a problem with frequency and burning maybe some loose bowels. Hope he is right because I had enough of the other problems with the clips.
MJ felt a lot better she did not know what to expect and felt she had to come with me to every treatment now I think she feels a lot better. So I guess the main thing now is to hope this great machine can kill this cancer and that it is local. Otherwise, I hope it continues to be uneventful. I will keep you posted if things change but otherwise one day at a time. Good luck to my bothers going for there treatments and David on your surgery my thoughts are with you all.
