Big Day Continued

Went to see Dr. Thomasz Beer today, the experience going from my uro doctor to the Knight Cancer Center was very sobering to say the least. My blood pressure was 189/90 and it was apparent I didn't want to be at this next stage of the unsettling journey. The doctor said if my psa had gone from .1 to .2 that isn't great but because it went from .1 to .34 in 5 weeks he is very concerned about the doubling time and ordered another psa draw, we should get those results in a few days. Then I go back on November 19th for a full body bone scan and a CT scan of the pelvis and ab area, then we wait until our appointment on the 30th for the results. My wife and I have learned a great deal of patience but not by choice. Thank you for all the well wishes and advise we will do some research on HT prior to the appointment on the 30th so we feel somewhat prepared for the visit. Bob

Man I just can not tell you how much I hate hearing this kind of news. Hang in there guys. We are all with you.
