Worried Guy Jeff
From Bizman42:
"I had a robotic-assisted prostatectomy in January 2009. Developed a prolonged ileus that required 10 days in the hospital and a catheter for 6 weeks. I've been slow to regain continence but have made some progress. Two years later, I'm stuck at one pad per day that is mainly stress incontinence. Current urologist likes the InVance sling but several friends have had that sling and have had continuing pain and subsequent failure. I'm looking at the AdVance sling as it appears to be a better and newer choice.
I'll be honest, my primary concern is leaking during sex. My erections are 80% without Viagra and 100% with the blue pill. I don't much care for the smaller penis (strangely not mentioned by any urologist prior to surgery), but I can only participate in sex if I lay on my back and have her do all the work. If I roll over or climb on, I leak. When I have an orgasm, I shoot pee (into a washcloth) rather than semen. I'm sick and tired of that.
I would like the AdVance sling to keep me dry during the day and during the ultimate "stress" condition of an orgasm. I have never seen nor heard of any guy's experience with this issue. Funny how doctors don't seem to mention this aspect either.
I'll go anywhere to have the most experienced and successful urologist install the Advance if it works.
