I guess I'm not smart enough to have a lot of opinions on this article, but it sure looks interesting. It does make me want to ask for the blood test.

good link and good article. i wish there were a simple test that could determine those genetic factors. it could explain why in a case like mine, why all treatments have failed rapidly, despite having post surgical pathology that doesn't look all that bad on paper.

A quite small percentage of men have a faster, more aggressive version of PC, while the vast majority have a slower, less aggressive version of PC...which is why so many more doctors are recomending the approach nowdays to "wait, and let's see what this cancer is doing" before over-reacting and over-treating.
