Hey 66, you made some good points. We do all have to make decision for ourselves. Judging by your low PSA reading and slow increase you may be correct in thinking time is on your side.
Without our young guy's detailed medical record it is hard to say but at 41 I know I would like plenty of time to consider it. Gleason 7 isn't something to be taken lightly IMHO especially if you are thinking of 35 + good years ahead, different if you are in your 70s, with all respect to our seniors. I wish I had all the advice available to me here to sift through when I was facing the Big C but in all likelihood the main decision would have been the same - G7 is hard to ignore, one of those scores is a 4 out of 5 and 5 is usually too late!
