Penis Atrophy

It's been 20 months since surgery (open RP) with all nerve bundles removed. It seems to me the penis shrinkage is becoming worse. The issue is not ED as I have absolute zero in that department. At this point, it is virtually impossible to pee without soaking the scrotum because the head of the penis is so far back. At no point during the day is the head of the penis visible, but rather protected as if I had jumped into a swimming pool of freezing water. That means that any leakage (6 pads per day) doesn't hit the pad without wetting the rest of me first. It's now pretty much impossible to use a urinal. The question is, is this unusual to those of you have have lost all nerves, or is it just the way things go.

fetree, my surgeon told me before RRP that even though he would be removing up to 5cm of plumbing, the bladder would eventually drop down and heal in place and I should see no appreciable difference in penis length.

However, on my first follow up visit I showed an appreciable decrease in flacid penis length, and like you, was leaking on my scrotum.  my penis was definitely shorter.  In addition my testicles seemed to hang down further. I don't know why, possibly because of veins were disconnected and tied off during surgery. I'll have to ask about that. But things were a lot different for sure.  During that first consultation I told the nurse practicioner I was unable to stir any signs of life in junior and things appeared to be shrinking. 

She explained that the most important thing is to get blood flowing again right away to the penis and let the nerves repair and blood supply be restored where it was severed during surgery......or things would shrink.    So she prescribed a VED and Viagra and I was instructed to use the VED at least three times a week along with 50mg of Viagra to obtain as hard of errection as I could without causing undue pain. I think the term "use it or lose it" was used. She told me I was to do this even though I didn't feel like it and not interested in sex at all. it was strictly physical therapy to aid the healing process.  In fact, I've never even used the rings supplied with the VED to maintain an errection or have sex.  I just let the blood flow and bring up an errection several times a week as instructed.

Anyway, it took awhile for me to start using the VED.  I finally tried it out after looking at the ridiculous contraption for a couple of weeks.   To my surprise, it helped.  I don't know if my fake errections are pulling the urethra/bladder down and extending them out, or if I'm just exercising the blood vessels..... but with the VED the errected length of my penis is about normal but somewhat soft, and maybe just a tad short.  But the flacid length is normal again.
