Info on Androderm

I would love to hear from anyone who has used Androderm - testosterone patch. The site where Michael applies the Androgel is burning, thought it might be more comfortable for him if he talked to his URO about the patch.

Thoughts?

I would imagine that the buring is a common side effect. How bad is the burning and does it go away with time?

I believe the patch is considered a decent delivery system...........the problem, or most common complaint, is that the skin gets irritated where one has to wear the patch. I haven't used the patch, so I can't testify to its effectiveness or comfort.

Thanks for the input! I wonder if it would just be easier for him to change to application in the AM and then on his upper arms, chest instead of going to the patch.

Any other input would be appreciated

The arm pit is much more sensitive than the upper arm and shoulder. So ya - applying the gel to the arm/shoulder would be something to consider.
