Need Oncologist Recommendation - Chicago

You are in luck, friend of mine went to him in Chicago area and he has seen like 5 onco-docs and is super informed on PCa issues and drugs, etc. He would recommend him and he is open minded (this doc) and not the typical playbook scenario. He may or will prescribe Keto drug (alot of docs won't, no money in it either). He was willing to give my friend the Keto drug, he has done other things thus far and gotten results too.

Go see him and somebody else and compare and ask some tough questions to see what is returned to you. Nothing like real life comparisons to get the ultimate education in the real world and its workings. I would like to hear your report if seeing him, I might consider him perhaps, I am in Michigan too.

Dr Gary MacVicar at Northwestern is an oncologist specializing in high risk PC.

Northwestern, along with Univ of Chicago, is a Comprehensive Cancer Center (CCC) where you will get the most advanced cancer treatments in the area.

Dr Brian Moran is excellent if you want seeds--he is a radiation oncologist, his business is all brachytherapy.

The CCC's take insurance/Medicare just like everyone else. Northwestern Memorial Hospital is downtown, one block east of Niketown.

Way back in like 2000-2002 era I found the Bolla abstract studies from 2002 (you can google such), the short story is that for primary treatment radiations with neo-adjuvant (prior HT drugs ADT) like 4-6 months or so followed by radiations, the patients had significantly higher survival rates, easily measurable. I followed that information in 2002 and probably is the biggest reason I am still here with very high stats from day one. So, not exactly new information and there is updated information on similar studies and even with SRT radiations and adding HT more recently out.  But your web link is now easy to click on for others to see it. Because you are a new person herein the rules also say not to post links just yet and you may work at CPCC, anyway I have posted the link for others to look at.  Not a fan of advertising per se, but people should have access to atleast look over anything and everything and make considerations and decisions. I am making no judgement as to this website, and have no knowledge it even existed prior to seeing the link today.
