I responded to Steve's and 142's email letting them know why I have been scarce lately. Well work has been very consuming and I have been playing hard too. I work in the telecommunications business and my work in my parish, my other part of me, has also been busy so it is that I am on the web but not as much as I would like to be.

My tests are coming up soon. For those who do not know my story, I was diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer more than five years ago at the age of 44 but I have had some luck. Next week my tests are coming up and I'm not sweating this like I used to. I think that may let some know that life goes on and it's quite possible to get back to business.

Same answer, what is to apologize for? Life goes on, cancer or no cancer. Glad that you are in the position to move on with your life and the things that you love. Isn't that what it is all about? No need to be a slave to our cancers.

I get great PCa information that comes by me because I had positioned myself to get that info. It's my goal to share what I get but my goodness I haven't read but 25% in the last month. I do see many posts here however delivering most of these messages. I apologize for when I get something that other don't see and not posting them. And also I apologize to my moderator buddies who have been bearing the brunt of the work.

Mr. Todd is in town and having a great time. I'll see him for lunch tomorrow and all day Friday. This will be between a trip to Reno, and working on RFP's and getting my classes in order for next Tuesday. Luckily that will be the last class I teach until September.

But before I rest I have some serious time with Mr. Living1963 to do. And while he's enjoying Cirque du Soliel tonight, he will be walking down our red carpet soon enough...

You are a fortunate guy indeed, to have the special time with Mr. Todd. Perhaps one day I can meet him too, been over 40 years since I was on the west coast. I am suppose to have a one-week all paid for, trip to San Francisco for my wife and I either later this year or early next year. That will get me to you side of the world at least.

Give my best to Todd and his wife. I am so thrilled that he held out and won his battle to get on Provenge, and glad that I and other HW members were in a position to help them in a small financial way. I don't know much about Provenge, but sincerely hope that new technology gives Todd an edge for his future.

And don't worry, in the going on nearly 4 years I have been here at HW, you have given a plethora of great information along the way. And I for one, appreciate it.

Best wishes on your tests. Heres to non-detectable at five years. Hopefully I didn't curse you with the early wishes.

This forum is a great resource and a comfort to us all. However, occasionally I find it necessary to take a break from all things Pca and avoid dwelling on the disease for a little while. I'm sure that moderators are not immune and if anything, it may be even more necessary for them.

Wow Tony. You are truly a nice guy. I hope to meet you, as well as others here who I refer to as the Brethren, someday god willing. I am just starting out but already can see that I am a poor candidate for SRT. Negative margins and the rest. Hope Todd enjoys the week. Best wishes to all.
