Just pointing out how if left to become to little or vague of moderation, discussion can turn into arguements and blogger postings and rants/raves. Some of us are on the list of discussions at PPML or other groups besides H.W. and it is hard to not have some discussion on outside influences to the medical system and therefore political related. It is slippery slope for discussions and we can find perhaps things on both sides of the issues that could have merits and demerits, but it isn't worth delving into on PCa type forums and would drive away some members, one whom just left PPML whom well known amongest all of us and therefore a loss to the greater community of PCa patients.
Some of us whom have seen this recent phenomena which is really getting way over the top understand well what I am mentioning. Sure it is hard to get into the mix of emotions and influences we all under go fighting a disease and the system at the same time, so we can all have alittle guilt for something we might have said at one time or another. Healingwell has been very good at keeping the peace and locking threads and at the same time allowing maxium free discussion I would say. So, good job and fair moderation are here and perhaps will add to having more patients get envolved in the necessary discussions.
I like PPML and has some great past discussions and contributors, currently wondering where there compass is heading for them. Seen some other forums too that are really crazy with even advertising and steering patients to various degress, glad not to visit them anymore.
Good job moderators and it is taken for granted all to often probably.
