After nearly six years here, about five as a moderator, and after careful thinking through the recent months and past weeks, I have decided to step down as a moderator. I will never forget arriving here at 2:00am on December 26th as a scared, don't remember that much of that Christmas, newly diagnosed patient. I am not resigning the site just my role as a moderator. Healingwell played a huge role in my life to eventually leading a live support group, becoming a patient advocate for a leading international cancer research organization, and also as a role in ministry that will be finally fully commissioned in 2013. With these responsibilities building over the last year it was becoming increasingly apparent that I have been here less and less. And it was showing as I was not giving this website what it deserves and therefore not giving you folks what you deserve. Over time I am sure I helped a few and offended a few. I ask for you understanding and forgiveness no matter which it was for you.

I'll post from time to time, and I'll follow as much as I can because the love, sharing, and support here has been heartwarming for me and the friends I've made a blessing to me.

May peace and love find you all always. And as I stated from the get go...

Stay positive!

Please note that while it takes time for Peter to make status changes, my status shows "Forum Moderator". Of course if anyone writes me in that role I'll oblige a response in that role, but I am resolved and it will be removed as soon as possible. Thank you all again...

Thank you Tony for all you have done for me, this site and it's members. You have accomplished many good things for PCa patients and their families. Wishing you continued success. We all understand that a moderators job is not always fun and games and appreciate the way you have handled the task with a high degree of fairness. It will be very tough for Peter to find someone to fill your shoes.

Tony, Thanks for the hard work that you have done on HW. This place is in a great part as good as it is because of your work here.

Hi Tony:

Thanks for all you have done here at HW and also for all of the work you continue to do in the fight against PCa.  You are a great advocate for the cause and your fair and even handling of matters on our forum will be missed.  However, I still look forward to seeing you around as a member -- your advice and cousel will continue to be valued by many.

You have done a wonderful job as Moderator, and we will miss the good work that you provided. Best of luck with your Ministry, I know you will enjoy the work, because your first Ministry was here at HealingWell.

Tony you will be missed as a Moderator, you are one class act and we all appreciate your hard work for us. In the bigger scope of things the work you are doing both regionally and nationally to increase PC awareness and research funding is much more important a roll for your time. If the PC community had more guys like you leading the fight this beast might be beaten much faster. Have you thought about cloning yourself?  Good luck and we will look forward to your HW updates on your future fights.

I understand and respect your decision. All good things come to an end at some point.

You were already here when I came here in 2008.

Your level of support, advice, research, advocacy, leadership as a moderatory here, service to
HW and Peter, are beyond excellent.

I appreciate everything and anything you have ever done for me personally, and I will be forever
grateful.

Tony,

Thanks for the time and energy you have invested in HW. Being a moderator by definition means that someone will always be around to second-guess some of your decisions. Don't lose one micro-second of sleep over that. You've done a fine job and I wish you the best in your future endeavors.

Thanks for all you have done here at HW and all you are doing within the prostate cancer community. I'm still bummed out I did not get a chance to meet you and Todd when you came to DC - Next year for sure!
