I just wanted to say how impressed I am by this forum, and what a great resource it is. The sharing of experience and knowledge is invaluable to all of us trying to cope with this disease. And the unity in celebrating zero psa and sympathy for those in difficult times displays a mutual understanding and respect as we fight our own battles. Bless you all.

what you describe, is what we try to portray here at HW PC. a lot of empathy, a lot of experience, and lot of guidance and support. we have different paths and different stories and different results - but we all share one thing - we fight the beast known as Prostate Cancer. That is what ties the brotherhood/sisterhood here among us.

Welcome to HW. Each of us are different but were all in the same fight one way or another. Some of us have had great success and other not so much. We are all here to support each other in so many ways.

When you get a chance you may want to introduce yourself to the group with profile or an intro post.

Thanks for the positive comments, and I too will welcome you. It's great to hear some confirmation of what I believe all of the brothers and sisters in the place are trying to do. As Cajun Jeff stated, we are each different but fighting against the common enemy. At times we get passionate about something or another, but at the end of the day I wouldn't want any other team-mates than who I have here. . . .

Here we go, thanks for the kuddos...we do have a bunch of terrific people (men and women) here. To add further to what Purgatory said about fighting the beast known as prostate cancer, to me this forum is much more than that: it's about fighting the impact this beast has had on all of us. Once you hear the word "cancer", your life changes no matter if the battle is an easy one or hard.
