Todd, glad you liked it so much, that would make my St. Pete girl very happy to hear. Treasure Island is very nice, all the beaches down that strip are pretty decent. I am sure your hotel was as first class as I know it to be. I enjoyed going to Ft. Desoto on our last trip there. Lots and lots of open beach, and the old fortress is pretty cool to explore. One of my brother in laws lives there and is an attorney. My other BIL leaves just outside St. Pete.

When I got out of the Navy, I started college there, at what was known then as St. Petersburg Jr. College, not sure what it is called now, because its a four year school these days. The "new" Skyway bridge is a thing of beauty, similar to the new bridge in Charleston, but much longer of course.

The sad thing about Sarasota, is that they actually have a Clown College there, to train clowns for Barnum and Bailey circus, lol, not making that up.

Hope that the Provenge treatment works for you Living1963. Husband did it in December 2011 through January 2012. Didn't help....a lot of money for the treatment, in excise of $220,000.00. Wish it would have helped us, by July he had full blown metastasis to the bone, not just the "spots" any more. On Xtandi now after 8 sessions of taxotere.

Sounds like your a musician...my husband is too, he plays drums (played) for many years. Trap case and set stacked out in the garage in their drum covers.

Also glad to know you like the state of Florida.....we live on the "cusp" of it, on the Alabama/Florida line on the waters of Perdido Bay and enjoy the "rays" like today, 70 degrees and sunshine. Did a lot of yard work, while husband watched, held the leave bags for me to dump from the lawnmower.

That is so fantastic. You actually got to see the person who mixed your doses. As rewarding as that was for you , think how you blessed that person. You brought a lot of joy to the place.

So many replies so little time.

First...80% of men will benefit from provenge. Unfortunately 1 in 5 will not. I hope I am in the 80% catagory. Actually I hope I am in the 17% category who recieve a large benefit.. Many High profile onco docs are saying provenge early makes the drugs that follow work better. I hope they are right.

Now for the rest. Yes very GFMPH. I will watch the fc anthem if I am ever off my phone and at a large screen.
The guy who mixed my provenge said it was amazing to meet me and he says the guys in the labs who mix the potions feel that every dose os.personal. They look at the collected cells as part of the.person and not just a bag of cells. As I said before. Amazing people.
