hi i have being passing blood and clots for the past 3 months it starting with straining with bowel movement
no uti on the 12/3/13 went to a&e (er) i got a Catheter put in  i am getting a ct and cystoscopy on friday

I too had blood in my urine 3 years after surgery...couldn't see it with the naked eye. I too did the ct and cystoscopy routine.

In my case, URO found that a staple from surgery was being rejected/attacked by my body... Had another minor surgery to have it removed.

Let us know how things go with Friday's tests.

I have been having the same problems brought on by also straining with a bowel movement and also for about the same amount of time. Did you have radiation. If so it can be radiation cyctitis. Over the last few weeks it has lestened until this week were i have had no blood for the past 5 days.

I am also scheduled for a CT scan on Friday.

My bleeding started 18 months out from my RT, and has continued on & off for 14 months now. Just had a run of it the last few days. Clots are not frequent, but are there.
