SRT - PRHC - final Zap - Nov 19

hello all - today is the 4th year anniversary of my PCa open surgery. It was a bit of a worry way back then in 2009 - with only a smattering of knowledge about prostate cancer - with a gleason 7 ( not slow - but not aggressive level) and positive margin ( possibility of bad guys left behind) ...
...but then had three nice years of being in the zero club and then #$%$^! the numbers went up.
Why? Who knows?
Nasty PCa cells deciding to start growing again - the trauma of kidney stones - a more acidic diet ( lemonaide to dissolve kidney stones) - still being overweight - trauma of doctor going in to try to zap kidney stones ...
..why ...who knows -- the rollercoaster just started to go exponentially up the PSA ramp and here we are - one day short of my final "zap" - 7 weeks long - 33 radiation treatments.
-I have fared better than most - with side effect kicking in last week - extreme fatigue and more B.M. problems - all in all- with the help and support of Healingwell - the local press who covered my cancer journey and the crowdfunding project to divert my attention from the morbid /depressed to "the little train that could"..I am very grateful - thank you.

Tech sounds like he needs to be working somewhere else. The great group I had was not about to let me leave any day without a smile or two.

Good to hear that the journey is done. We'll be watching for low numbers ;)
