Everybody I have talked to on the phone has been great. Too bad Terry the water guy can't be there too, nor Paul1959 the charter member who started it all with Jeff and Goodlife.

Really great of Jeff to host in Rochester each year and since we're so close geographically I volunteered to help Sonny with the March GFMPH in Orlando.

Jim I can assure you that your view of life will never be quite the same after GFMPH! I have attended all but the first one. For me it has become a family reunion of sorts.

Will be great to have you with us.

Is hotel information available yet? I plan to drive up from CT on Friday morning. I should be there mid-afternoon.

Since I will not be going I will allow you to sleep in the tent in the woods that I used last year. The price is right too!!

BB Fan - I sent you an email with the address of hotel where I am staying.

For the GPS location, I suggest you contact Jeff (Worried Guy) at the email ID in his HW profile.

Here's an excerpt from the email Jeff sent me when I inquired:

"As you have already heard there is one rule: we strictly respect each others privacy and do not forward names or mention anything that can identify the individuals. Some of us are in positions where we cannot talk openly about our situations. There are many different reasons: ....

We honor everyone's wishes. We don't post names and addresses on Facebook or heck most of us don't friend each other unless it is with a fake FB account. Photos are in a private unsearchable accounts that are passworded. GFMPH privacy is a covenant - only without the secret hand shake. :-) --Jeff"

Jim, Thanks for sending the hotel info.

Terry, you have to be kidding me!!! The coveted "tent in the woods" will be long gone by the time I roll in on Friday afternoon. I understand that Worried Guy has outfitted it with a flat screen TV and mini-bar this year. Sorry to miss you this year. BB

BB Fan - when I lived in CT from 1983 to 2000, there was a saying about UCONN Basketball.

UCONN - where men are men and women are champions. My son is a big UCONN fan but I have not forgiven them for beating my Dukies in 1999.

Before he got so famous, UCONN womens' coach Geno Auriemma was the main speaker at my daughter's Hartford Courant Scholar-Athlete banquet.

The hotel has reserved rooms for us at a discounted rate. (I played the cancer card.) wink

It is the same "Comfortable" hotel as last year.

Bumping this back to the top for all of you still sitting on the fence about coming to this year's GFMPH NY.

If you have already given me your sizes, either here or via email, I have you on the list.

If you are still considering coming, then you need to let me know so I can include you in the shirt order. Normally I have a few extra printed for the folks who can't make up their minds till the last minute. But this year the shirts will be special (more costly) so I won't be printing extras. This is something that I do for the GFMPH attendees (out of my pocket) and I do it gladly.

So come on, you have seen enough about the great times had by all that attend. Its time you decide to join that crowd.
