A Wrap up to GFMPH NY 2013 from Sherry and Sonny

We have arrived back home in Florida and now look forward to GFMPH Florida, March 20-23, 2014.

Sherry has said it better than I can about our experience this year in NY. I would only add my thanks. And remember, "Every Day is A Bonus, choke the life out of it".

In all my years I have to say that I have NEVER seen, nor felt, love in the way I felt it during GFMPH this year! As I reflect back on our NY GFMPH gathering, I still get "goosies", and "warm fuzzies", and gratitude fills every pore of my being.

I searched www for a stronger, more sincere way to say"thank you". I found words like, APPRECIATION, GRATITUDE, BLESSING, and HONOR. But my favorite expression, and the one that most describes my feelings about GFMPH was: "I would thank you (all) from the bottom of my heart, but for you (all) my heart has no bottom."
Y'all filled me up to the tippy-top with the JOY OF LIVING!

A special, special thank you to Jeff and Barb, for your gracious hospitality! Your level of giving is unsurpassed! And, specifically to Ms WW, Pat and Jeannie, thank you for all the "PRETTIES" you brought with you to transform our ceremony into a "real wedding". Y'all WOWED MY SOCKS OFF!!! Not only did I feel love, I SAW love demonstrated as I sat there watching all you gals and guys work together to build a BEAUTIFUL memory for Sonny and me. THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!

While y'all made Saturday more special than I could have ever imagined, you made EVERY day even more special than the day before! At GFMPH, I saw a REAL, GENUINE FELLOWSHIP; it ENCOURAGES; it SUPPORTS; it SHARES, it LOVES ON SO MANY, MANY LEVELS; it GIVES BEYOND GIVING; it EMPTIES ITSELF FOR ONE ANOTHER!

It was especially nice to meet some first-timers. I bet they feel like I felt last April at GFMPH Baton Rouge -- there is no such thing as being new at GFMPH! It's "INSTANT FAMILY, just add water"!

Sonny and I look forward to seeing everyone next year at GFMPH Florida, March 20-23, so mark your calendars and make plans to get another dose of sunshine in your soul! And to those of you who have not yet been able to join a gathering, PLEASE come. Remember, ain't no such thing as being "new"! You are FAMILY!

SHERRY--At Casey's home after the Chicago SWOG meeting I was privileged to see photos on Goodlife's kindle of your wedding. Just wanted you to know that you made a beautiful couple! We all thought that Sonny looked as we imagined an older .50 cal gunner on a Swift patrol boat should look with an intense (not beady) stare. Be proud of your man!
SONNY--You hit a home run with Sherry! A beautiful lady and her comments show her soul. Do you still have your "go-no go" gauge. Screw the barrel in tight and back it off 2 rounds and use the gauge; if it won't go back it off 1 round and call it good..My memory is shot but I remember that. I wish you both a happy life..You had an excellent minister!
