our experience was with Xtandi first, then Zytiga. I think most of the guys have had the Zytiga first, and if that fails, on to Xtandi, like you. For Mark, the Zytiga did nothing and he felt worse overall. His oncologist OK'd going back to Xtandi even after a doubling PSA and stroke. I think Oncas said that his doc believes that Xtandi may have benefit when the PSA is rising. You were on Zytiga for a year If the Xtandi does not work for you, would your oncol rechallenge with Zytiga? Part of this PC battle is knowing that there is another bullet for you.
You mention that your oncol does not expect much from Xtandi because they are similar. You could say the same for the various HT's. When Lupron fails, odds are that your oncol with try one or two of the newer HT's. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.
Hope you get some meaningful feedback from the guys going through this with you.
