What the heck are we doing to ourselves?

I read with considerable dismay TC Las Vegas' post announcing that he's leaving us. Why? Because "Sometimes you are just made to feel not welcomed anymore. I now receive with apparently full consent of some, harassing and mean emails and it's just not a healthy environment."

Knowing that this is OT (at least as far as PCa is considered) and that this thread will likely be locked, as a long (and hopefully in good) standing member of this forum, I find the fact that any one would receive these types of communications from a member of this forum reprehensible. The atmosphere here has changed considerably - and not for the better.

We've had some amazing members here...people with insight, heart, class, and knowledge. They took time out of their lives to share their knowledge and insight with us, and each of us has benefited. And we repay them by not making them feel wanted? Not only is this behavior childish, it's disgusting, cruel, and selfish because when someone like TC decides to bow out from this forum, we all lose.

Tony, I don't know if you'll come back and read this but, if you do, I extend my apologies on behalf of everyone here who has gained strength and wisdom from you. To be treated the way you have is anathema to the purpose of this forum.
