After a second read I found the following interesting... Traditionally, radiation therapy delivered to men with metastatic prostate cancer—when tumors have spread throughout the body—was used solely as a means to reduce pain and other symptoms, but not to bring about a cure. This form of radiation therapy is known as palliative care—treatment used to improve quality of life, but not as a means to extend life...."
I've done spot radiation not because of pain...I think killing cancer has to be better than not killing cancer...but I know what they've saying...
