If I understand your post correctly, in January 2013 your PSA was 36.x and now it is 37.y.
So PSA Doubling time does not appear to be problematic at all.
Is it a urologist or a radiation oncologist who is monitoring your PSA, and what do they recommend?
The jump from 2+ 16 years ago to 36.x in 2013 begs the question of what was hte PSA the time before the 36.x in 2013?
Have you had any CT's or MRI's to see what may be causing that PSA increase? that now appears to have leveled off.
Besides Lupron, there are other forms of hormonal therapy plus a bunch of drug choices Xtandi, Zytiga, Provenge, Radium 223, etc.
BTW, as a guy who has a Lupron life sentence, your 16 year success is an inspiration.
